Inspired by the wines of such luminaries as Yarra Yering and Mount Mary, Giant Steps has been planted to explore clonal and site specific differences between a range of pinot noir, chardonnay and merlot clones. The predominantly north facing vineyard covers a series of ridges rising from 300 to 1000 feet with the soils consisting of rocky/gravelly clays.
